First time here. Nice atmosphere. Very crowded, long wait for food. My drink was not a generous portion (Baileys on the rocks). My food wasn’t hot, my steak was like cardboard. Chewy, tough, dry, inedible. Green beans raw (and I requested that they be well done). Mashed potatoes ok but not hot. My husband loved his food - lentil soup and cauliflower tacos. But his food wasn’t hot either. They really need to work out the kinks. More waitstaff and food delivery staff. They need to hire someone who can grill meat properly.
We really enjoyed our visit. The restaurant was very clean and very well designed. The menu had a large variety of food. What we ordered was absolutely delicious, including the fries ( which is impressive, cuz usually fries aren't noteworthy) Their own in-house Brewery choices were quite delicious as well. Both the wife and I ordered one of their in-house Brews. It was very good, so was the second one. LOL their wait staff were quite friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend this establishment. We will definitely be going back.
The food wasn’t good enough for how expensive it is. I ordered a margarita which didn’t have the price listed and it ended up being $10. Also the margarita wasn’t mixed well. All the alcohol was at the bottom so it tasted very bad until halfway through. Our app didn’t come out until 10 minutes after our food. The waitress was absolutely amazing that’s about the only thing my boyfriend and I really liked about our experience. The menu was the same size as a cook book which is always a big no no. Overall? Not really planning on going back...
It's more than just burgers and fries. Very dynamic menu. The staff introduced me to their beers with comparisons and samples. Good happy hour drink prices. Awesome environment.
We are from California and since moving to Detroit we have missed going to Bj's. We were so excited when this one opened. Their menu is awesome. My wife loves their Great White pizza. I get the full rack of ribs. On Thursdays they have a special on the ribs. But our favorite is the Pizookie. The chocolate chip is the best. They have changed the ways orders are put in which allows the food to come out really fast. You can now make online reservations and place your order before you get here. When you arrive they put your order in so you don't wait long while you are seated. Make sure to get their gift card special while the supplies last.
