Great company
Overall a decent process parking my car and getting things setup to leave from Detroit. You bring your car into the garage, hand over the keys and they drop you off at the airport. They do have a scale in their garage type building in case you want to drop some weight off your suitcase due to checked bag weight restrictions... at least you can lock it up in your car for your trip.
After getting in the shuttle, the driver picks someone up for Windham hotel. I was a little upset as I wasn't informed that they shuttled to other locations, normally not a huge deal, but then he informs us that they leased out one of their vans to Windham, who has several of "our" passengers for other hotels. Again, whatever, I just want my car. After around an hour of waiting and swapping passengers, I was finally dropped off at their garage.
I use valet connection every time I go out of town! They’re very professional and such a clean place. I once cancelled my reservations and they refunded my money in less than twelve hours.
Upon arrival to Detroit the process was pretty straight forward, but then it was not. I acknowledged my arrival through the link they text you, but it doesn't really state that any sort of shuttle is on the way to pick you up. So I called, and ensured that the shuttle would be on its way. After around 20 minutes of waiting, I called again and ensured it was on its way, which I was told it should be there shortly. Maybe 5 mins later or so it pulled up. Seemed a little lengthy to wait, especially when considering multiple US Park/Park n Go shuttles cycled through.
I would give them zero stars if I could. I only used Valet Connections as they advertised indoor / covered parking, as it was supposed to be extremely cold while i was traveling. MY TRUCK WAS PARKED OUTSIDE IN THE SNOW. NOT INSIDE AS ADVERTISED. Than they felt it was necessary to wash it to remove the snow. THEY REFUSED TO DRY IT AND THE TEMPERATURE WAS BELOW ZERO WHEN I RETURNED. The staff at check out was rude. Never again. I may even report them to the better business bureau for false advertising.
The car service for the Detroit airport is undeniably the most convenient I've found anywhere, great prices for short or long term parking , leave your care without a worry , drop off inside a large warehouse ( covered and heated) they take you to where you need to go at the airport (DTW) and when you return , all you need to do is goto the provided link ( sent to you by text at check in) and your vehicle boy will be waiting for you when you get to valet connections I'll be a shuttle bus Mercedes does matter of fact shuttle bus waiting for you or would just a few minutes wait and I'll take you to valet connections from the airport where they dropped you off , wouldn't be a good flight without them , I fly 1-3 times a month ,for the last 5 months , always use their service and have NEVER had any issues what so ever , if you want to go away for a bit , with a no delay transportation , Valet Connection is your best bet
My car was waiting in the garage, cleaned of snow and the desk staff was friendly. I think the driver did the best he could, but I think they could have had a better system for loaning out their vehicle. Maybe (hopefully) it's a one off kind of thing, but I'll consider them again, unless better options start becoming available.
24 hours service to and from the airport. My car is always ready when I return and never wait more than 5 minutes for the shuttle. This is a great option for ladies who travel as you don't have to walk alone in a huge airport lot to get to your gate or car in the dark. Those lots can be creepy when not lit up.
